Problem: We maintain our production schedule in an Excel spreadsheet. The schedule changes often. It is a lot of work to re-order jobs. Regularly we’re reassigning machines that are kept on different tabs and updates are often missed.
Solution: Keeping up a production schedule in Excel or another spreadsheet can be overwhelming, especially if its constantly changing. The MRP’s schedule is easy to use by simply dragging and dropping the orders onto machines and arranging the order. Sales orders get entered in the Order Entry module and its information is pulled onto the schedule. From there no further entry is required for scheduling. Un-scheduling or changing machines for an order is as simple as a click.
